Non-Denominational is a ceremony that is not of a particular denomination. It can simply be a general belief in a Higher Power. Serves couples who are of different religious backgrounds with general blessings, passages, and non-offensive prayers and customs. Vow Renewal is a sacred ceremony re-affirming the couple’s marriage vows, love and life-long commitment. It can contain any of the above ceremonial type elements. Commitment Ceremonies are personal and distinctive statement shared with family and friends. It is an intimate ritual celebrating the partners’ love and life-long commitment while marking the formal beginning of their new life together . The Re-Marriage Ceremony (A second ceremony) - For couples who are already married who want a wedding ceremony as though it is for the first time, although it’s not! It’s the ceremony you wish you could have had the first time with family and friends! (Perfect ceremony if you were married and no one knows!) Renewal of Vows & Anniversaries - A ceremony that celebrates your years married. Reaffirming your wedding vows acknowledges the love you have for one another and recognizes the past, the present and what future means to you today. The Sand Ceremony - The Bride and Groom each have a different color of sand that symbolizes them as individuals. The pouring of the sand into a vessel represents the uniting them together as one. The Sand Ceremony offers the couple a unique keepsake of their ceremony to display in their home! Unity Candle Ceremony - Symbolizes the Bride and Groom united together as one and may include their families being united together as one family. The Memory Candle Ceremony - For those who have had the personal loss of a loved one whom they would like to acknowledge or honor with the lighting of a Memory Candle. The Rose Ceremony - In the Rose Ceremony, the Bride and Groom give each other a red rose bud. Two red rose buds are all that is necessary. If you have children involved in the ceremony, you may have a rose for each of them too. The Rose Ceremony is placed near the end of the ceremony just "after" being pronounced husband and wife. The Coin Ceremony - This tradition is usually associated with Hispanic families. The custom of the giving of wedding coins originated in Spain. Thirteen gold coins are given to the bride by the bridegroom, signifying his willingness to support her. The Handfasting Ceremony -- Handfasting is an ancient commitment ceremony. It is the predecessor to the modern wedding ceremony. The ritual itself usually includes a loose binding together of the hands of the couple with a ritual cord of some kind, hence the name, which means "hand fastening." It is also the origin of the slang phrase "to tie the knot." Broom Jumping - Broom jumping is a brief ceremony usually within the wedding ceremony toward the end. The jumping of the broom is symbolic of binding a couple in marriage and also can be used to symbolize fertility and prosperity of the couple. The Lasso Ceremony - Lasso or rope is placed around the bride and groom's shoulders (groom's shoulder's first) in the form of an "8" (the infinity symbol) - after they have exchanged their vows - to symbolize their everlasting union. This is usually done by the officiant, however, family members can also take part in this ritual. The couple wears the lasso throughout the remainder of the service. Traditional-Contemporary - Our weddings often blend the Traditional with the Contemporary. Our ceremony is non-denominational and offers for you to personally select special readings, scriptures, songs; include Personal Vows and add other distinctive touches to make your ceremony as special and unique as the two of you! The Children Ceremony (For couples previously married with children) - We offer The Children Ceremony for couples who have children from a previous marriage. In addition to including them in the ceremony, it acknowledges the significant role they will play in your new marriage. It is a wonderful way for you to express and to reassure them of how loved and important they are. The Family Ceremony (For couples previously married with children) - The Family Ceremony includes children of all ages from your previous marriage. A wedding is not just the legal binding of two people together; it is also the Spiritual Bonding of two groups of people who will grow into a family. The Children and the Family Ceremony marries a family not just a couple! Rehearsals (Additional Charges Apply) Rehearsals are a wonderful time for your Minister to meet and get to know everyone that will be in your wedding. It is a time for you and your family and friends to kick off Pre-Wedding day procedures having fun so that everyone feels comfortable about the Big Day! During the Rehearsal the Bridal party will learn how they will be walking in for the Processional, where and how they will be standing during the ceremony and how they will walk out for the Recessional. The Mothers will know when and how they will be seated and what they are to do before taking their seats. This of course depends upon your Personal ceremony and the Options you have chosen to include in your ceremony. Such as a Family/Children Ceremony, Unity Candle, Sand Ceremony, Lasso & Coins, Jumping the Broom and Readings by friends or family are the things that everyone who is anyone in your ceremony will want and need to know! The actual Ceremony will be reviewed in highlights so that both the Bride and the Groom will know exactly what to expect and when. Although Rehearsals may be additional – They Are Priceless! |
